Coat Rack
Looking forward to communicate the identity of an architectural icon of one of the main districts of Montevideo, the Sarmiento Bridge, we have designed a product line that reflects the atmosphere of the area using different views and angles of the bridge.
An easy chair was designed using as inspiration the bridge itself, while we used the light columns around the bridge to generate a Coat Rack made out of metal and wood.
Sarmiento Bridge served as inspiration for Sarmiento Easy Chair, while the light columns where used as inspiration for the Coat Rack.
Shape synthesis.
Steel bars represent the structure of the light columns, generating a concordant aesthetic.
